2026-2027 Council Officers
Brother Knight Dr. Dominic Nuciforo Honored
The Plantation of Leesburg Community Italian American Club Leadership Team and Scholarship Committee unanimously named the IAC Scholarship after Dr. Nick.
Brother Nuciforo started the scholarship program years ago by creating a street festival to fund the program. The scholarship will now be known as:
"The Dr. Dominic Nuciforo IAC Annual Scholarship"!
Congratulations Brother Nick!!!
Brother Nick has been a Knight for 58 years. He is a person who goes out of his way to help other people. As a retired Professor and Administrator, he volunteered at St Paul’s Catholic School mentoring the eighth graders’ essay writing and assisting teachers with Staff Development. He has also been a sustaining member of our council's college scholarship application review board. Dr. Nick is a man with a great passion for cooking. He prepared delicious meals with the help of our dedicated Kitchen Krew for monthly socials and dinners. He volunteers at the food pantry and the yearly Giving Tree at St Paul’s.

Polish Dinner Thanks
The Council’s Annual Polish dinner was held on Saturday Feb. 15th. As in the past everything was prepped and cooked that day. Held in the school cafeteria it turned out to be a very successful day. Over 100 dinners were served. Many of the attendes are repeat customers who look forward to the event. Father Matthew and Father Augustine came by and socialized with many of the attendees. The Ladies’ Auxiliary handled the 50/50 raffle and the winner donated all the money back. It was a busy but fun day !
I would like to thank the following volunteers for their extremely hard work to make the dinner a success, The Ladies’ Auxiliary was a great help again this year during the prep work and serving.

2025 Silver Rose Visit Tues. Mar. 11th, 6pm
Each year, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes starting in Canada thru the USA and ending in the National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico, where they are presented to the image of Our Lady on her feast day. Join us for a special prayer service!
