The Council’s Annual Polish dinner was held on Saturday Feb. 15th. As in the past everything was prepped and cooked that day. Held in the school cafeteria it turned out to be a very successful day. Over 100 dinners were served. Many of the attendes are repeat customers who look forward to the event. Father Matthew and Father Augustine came by and socialized with many of the attendees. The Ladies’ Auxiliary handled the 50/50 raffle and the winner donated all the money back. It was a busy but fun day ! 

I would like to thank the following volunteers for their extremely hard work to make the dinner a success, The Ladies’ Auxiliary was a great help again this year during the prep work and serving. 

Thank you to the following Ladies’ Auxiliary members, Co-President’s Cindy Diemer and Joyce Collins, Jan Huber, Mary Huhn, Jo Roberts, Joanne Jennings, Ellie Scalzo, Louise Karwowski.

Each year, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes starting in Canada thru the USA and ending in the National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico, where they are presented to the image of Our Lady on her feast day.  Join us for a special prayer service!

 Greetings from your Grand Knight.  

  My wife and I will be venturing off to a new life in High Point, North Carolina. We will be moving near Family receiving family type assistance, in matters of old age, health, motivation, and entertain-ment. We are aware of the many familiar things we will miss experiencing again. But we are confident we will gain many new experiences.  We will miss the many friends we’ve made the last 25 or so years. We are confident we will make 

many new ones. I will miss: 

- The Knights’ monthly meetings; 

- The Kitchen Krew Kwality Meals Doug and Tom cooked up; 

- The FS jabbing me under podium to keep the  discussion on point; 

- Mark-O never giving up on me; 

- Bill C pretending he heard me; 

- Chris hoping there’s no CPA nearby when he gives his monthly Report; 

- Larry Huhn driving a golf cart; 

- Handing out Bulletins to fellow parishioners after Mass on Sundays; 

- Fr Seno and Fr Augustine praying for and with us at KofC meetings.  

You see. I will miss a lot.
